| Bio: | Techie is a Twenty (TWENTY?!) year old fan-girl with way too much time on her hands. Artist, fan-fic authoress, comic book/action figure/horror movie/theatre/computer geek. She is a self proclaimed Harry Potter fanatic, Evil Dead Crusader, Mythbusters follower, Sci-Fi nut and Lone Gunmen Addict. The latter of those five takes presidence. Wears fingerless gloves, loves Punk music (real punk, not Avril BLEAH!), loves working with computers, is an artist, writer (duh)and all around whack job. Used to have every intention of becoming an elementary school teacher, but abandoned that in favor of pursuing writing as a profession. Also wants to dabble in acting and directing one day. Acting because she's a ham and directing because she's good at bossing people about. In addition to her crummy writing she's also a crummy artist and poet. Normal girl aside from her odd sense of humor, love of action figures, comic books and the paranormal. Also suffers from an unhealthy fascination with Batman in all his incarnations (books, movies, action figures etc.) If you want to be Techie's bestest, bestest buddy, you must renounce all other superheroes and accept Batman as your personal savior. The only exception to this rule are those who follow Hellboy...'cause he's the shit and could probably kick Batman's ass if there was ever a crossover. But don't tell Batsy she said that. If you come here looking for a fight, don't bother. Your nonsensical ravings will only give Techie the horrible urge to make fun of you...which she will...at length...in front of everyone. This is what she does. Fair warning: Techie talks. A lot. She has the ability to ramble for twenty solid minutes without taking a breath on one subject, regardless of how stupid and pointless the aforementioned subject may be. Sometimes it's a legitimate opinion about something 'important' but more often than not you're looking at a recap of the entire history of the X-Men universe/a list of Warner Brothers cartoon directors and voice actors/a debate on the viability of a Winnebego for space travel or something similar. Granted, there are certain things she is impassioned about, but the chances of you stumbling upon one of her chosen topics of obsession is rather rare, since she prefers to keep them to herself. Techie worships Bruce Campbell above all other men, with William Shatner coming in at an agonizingly close second. She is secretly working on finding a way to get ahold of genetic material from both of them in hopes of cloning an entire army of Ash/Kirks. Crap...now it's not secret anymore. Techie is single (oh, with all those quirks, why on Earth wouldn't she be?), and looking...but not online. Seriously, she doesn't need another stalker, she only just got rid of the old one. Geeky guys/fanboys are Techie's Kryptonite. One flash of a d20 and she's theirs for life. Well....maybe more like six hours. She has a short attention span and grows bored unless entertained constantly by witty banter and intelligent conversation. Needless to say, she's no good at suffering fools and will not hesitate to cut them down in their prime. She loves writing/reading snarky, smart assed characters, so beware her insanely sharp tounged OCs. They'll bite your head off man. She's also a total review whore. The more you stroke her ego, the happier she is, and the happier she is, the more she writes. Speaking in third person when writing her bios also makes her feel slightly schitzophrenic, so she'll stop now. Pet Peeves: Catwoman: The Movie (do not open this can of worms, you will never shut me up about it), bad grammar (I will not hesistate to correct you, berate you and otherwise utterly humiliate you), labels (having black hair does NOT make me a goth. Neither does the fact that I'm named Lydia. Shut up about it already. I am not a punk, prep or emo chick either, I don't let my musical tastes define me as a person), Avril Lavigne (this will send me into conniption fits, do not bring her up under any circumstances), idiots in general annoy the hell out of me.
